    We were okay but the hotel was very hilly - there were 61 steps down to the beach not including the 45 degree slopes as well. This accommodation is not for people in wheelchairs or that have walking limitations. There are no lifts in the hotel. The ground floor rooms are only swim ups and not everyone wants to pay extra for that. Even then I would say that by the look of the \"pool\" for the swim up rooms it was very small and narrow - in fact the end rooms looked like plunge pools as there was a barrier separating from the rest of the \"pool\". We never saw anyone in the \"pool\" in their swim up room. The food was okay, we have had better quality at Secrets resorts over the years. The beach service was hit and miss - their asking us if we would like a drink only seemed like a \"suggestion\" at times and frequently we asked for a drink and the drink did not turn up. Anywho the bar was only a short walk away. There were sellers for boat tours on the beach but they weren't too pushy at all. Overall the resort was lovely, very lush and green, flat and level when you got down to the area where the pools and restaurants were.

    Secrets St Lucia was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Food and drinks were amazing and there was constant entertainment. The beach was absolutely perfect and the beach bar was the best out of them all. The staff is what makes this place, Ronie and Aaron on the entertainment team were so friendly, energetic and welcoming. Samuel and the young girl in the tapas/crepe place were so attentive, these people really can’t do enough for you. The majority of staff at the buffet were so so lovely. I would recommend anyone travelling to Secrets to book their excursions with Joy on the beach, what a wonderful family man, we absolutely loved him. The restaurant on the pier I would say was standard, the heat on there was unbearable, I couldn’t finish my meal. Overall we had a beautiful stay and would visit again.
