Check in not until 4pm, had to pay for the all inclusive drinks until we had our wrist bands on check in 4pm. Arrived at the hotel at 11-45 no room or free drinks until we had our room at 15-45

We really liked our accommodation, it felt like a fairly small resort instead of being a massive resort so it didn't feel overwhelming. The staff were kind, and for the most part helpful. Our room was lovely, we did mention that our holiday was our honeymoon so I think we may have been in a better room because of that! The spa was nice and we really liked the pools. Both bars were really nice, with the main evening bar absolutely stunning! The decor was really polished and it felt luxury. I must admit, that as a vegan, I really struggled with food. Our first night, I spoke to a kitchen staff member who was incredibly helpful and offered to make me a vegan pizza. Unfortunately, each night the service went down hill, with on the last night I was told they couldn't do anything for me and my only choice was rice and the salad (half of which contained meat anyway). Vegan options definitely can be improved, it felt like when a dish was vegan, it was completely by chance. We were not aware until after check in that an \"Elite Premium\" service was available for purchase. We did go down this route and was able to have more luxury drinks and experiences, however we would have preffered to have known this would be the case before arrival.

Although the bed was large and comfortable, the room appeared rather small. Te small verenda was cr umbling on one side and needed repair. The room itself was dimly lit even with all the available lights switched on. The bathroom shower itself was terrific but the drainage was imadequate and there was no shelf or cabinet in which to place our toiletries. The toilet bowl had a strange cut out section at the front, with a corresponding cot out in the seat, the purpose of which we did not discover, strange indeed. The tea and coffee etc were not refilled daily by housekeeping as we expected, but we were informed by reception, after asking them that we could help ourselves to items from the dining room, strange again.
