    Bar staff could be overly rude and apprehensive to serve the top shelf drinks even though I had brought the package along with this you only got good service if you were a constant tipper my room also got missed for cleaning 3 days in a row so had to complain

    Good accommodation, food was good but unfortunately a restaurant was closed to use as a buffet for the sister hotel which was a shame.

    The hotel itself is very nice and has a great look and feel, with low‑lying buildings that don’t spoil the horizon and mostly traditional thatched‑style rooms that give it a lovely Caribbean character. The rooms were comfortable, with plenty of space and good bathrooms, although they were a little tired and would benefit from a refresh. The air‑conditioning and ceiling fan worked well, and the beds were comfortable. Our rooms didn’t have much of a view — being on the side of the resort, we overlooked a road, a fence, and construction work for a new hotel next door.

    Lots of individual issues were noticed. Missing tiles in the pool, cleanliness of the beach areas, with pieces of discarded fruit and chicken bones observed on the sand. Beach towels with bleach? Stains on them. Leaking shower in our room, from the shower head and from the enclosure too. Poorly painted ceiling meant there was paint slathered on the tiles. Pealing and bubbling on the ceiling with water stains that were also present in the bedroom. We did highlight these with the hotel and they did come and repair the problems with our room. However, there were daily issues with the lack of towels (face, hand and bath mat) that despite repeatedly raising this it remained an issue throughout our stay. As I’ve previously commented. This is not what you’d expect from the description given by you about this hotel. This was supposed to be an amazing holiday to celebrate my wife’s big birthday, in a 5 star ‘Autograph collection’ resort, with a butler and ‘Diamond club’ service. We didn’t get this. We are very disappointed and feel very let down. We have spent a lot of money over the years with Tui on many summer and winter holidays and we did not expect what we got.
