Apartment was big. Bathroom needs refurb. Stepping into a bath for shower isn’t ideal at all.

Very tired, dated, scruffy and the bathroom needs a complete refit, the bath was awful with permanent stains and dreadful areas of mould. The bath was slippery when showering as no bath mat. The studio needs a deep clean and a lick of paint. The balcony had full sun and was too hot to sit out on so I bought a beach parasol and used that so a parasol needs to be provided really. The front door had a huge gap at the bottom and we worked out thats where cockroaches were coming in so we blocked it off each night. Lots of ants and a few cockroaches about which we sprayed and made sure we didnt leave food about and tried to keep it clean. We are not too fussed about accommodation as a rule as long as its clean and not worn out but this room definitely needs a lot of attention now. This didnt ruin our holiday however as we just adapt as best we can but I can see how somebody else wouldnt like it. We have had a lot of holidays with tui over the years and generally we stay in the same kind of place either studio or one bedroom and we have had much better than this. We never take it for granted that things will be provided for us but this is the first time that only toilet roll was provided and not hand soap or t. towel etc. Its also the first time ever weve been expected to put the top sheet onto the bed ourselves when theyve changed the sheets. Yes they do the bottom sheet and pillow case but leave the top sheet folded up for us to do. No lighting over the dressing table/hair dryer area which meant I couldnt see properly when getting ready to go out at night. Daytime it wasnt a problem though, in fact the lighting in the whole place wasnt very good. I know that other accommodation have been refitted and not sure if they are going to do them all but I hope they do because otherwise this is a great place to stay.

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable and cleaners called every day and changed bed linen and towels regularly but the bathroom was very run down. The position of the very old shower fixture made it feel unsafe to use.
