    The staff in the hotel were so friendly and welcoming Waiters in the main restaurant were so polite and the service was excellent . There was a good variety of food choices at breakfast lunch and evening meals . Fabulous hotel to stay at second time I have stayed at Bellevue park hotel and love the location straight onto the beach

    Friendly staff. Nice to have a welcome drink on arrival. Great swimming pool and vibe, loads of loungers Room housekeeping wasn’t particularly thorough. Spilled drink on the floor stayed there for days, and a change of bedding mid-stay would be nice Food was ok. Nothing outstanding , but ok. Plenty of choice. Maybe reduce the choice and improve the quality? Gym was good, well equipped for this kind of resort. What made the holiday memorable was the animation team and activities. They lost all of their team except 3 when we were there, no idea what staffing issues they had (5 people disappeared) . BUT everyone we met worked so very hard. We took part in most of the activities and the team were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Management need to make sure there is good leadership in the Animation Team and that the staff feel valued. They are a huge asset to the Hotel.

    We arrived at the hotel early in the morning and as expected the rooms were not ready yet the hotel Manager advised that we could come back after lunch. However after such a long journey to arrive at the hotel it would’ve been nice to have had some kind of service available or a room temporarily, even where we could get freshened up so our first day really was wasted we weren’t able to relax before getting into our room when we actually got up to our room the floor that we were on seem quite tired carpet light fittings that don’t work maintenance Man was in our ceiling doing repairs. We had no Aircon for the first few days in the unbearable heat in the mid 30s when it was finally turned on the room smelt so if we left it on for too long there was a sewage smell. We were also disappointed to find that there was no ironing facilities available to us unless we paid for the laundry service that they offered which I don’t think is fair after you’ve carried 20 kg of luggage to your hotel to then be told that there was no facility for you to be able to iron them so half of our luggage that we carried we were unable to wear. Not having an iron service in the room or an iron that we could borrow while on holiday was something that I never heard of all of my times going on holiday in the last 20 years this hotel also felt like they wouldn’t provide you with a service unless you were paying extra for it with additional tips which is something that a lot of people mentioned. I pay tips for a good service after I’ve received it not prior and should not be a requirement of receiving a good service from you on the outside the hotel is very nice. The reception is beautiful. I can’t fault that but I feel like the small things like customer service and the facilities for the rooms are a let down. we had a Garden view room which to actually view the garden you had to lean over the balcony and look down onto some grass as the actual view from the room was all of buildings in renovation
