Stunning views and great food but there isn’t much much around so if you’re looking to relax and shut off. It’s perfect

“Top vakantie”

We hadden een prachtige vakantie. Het hotel was uitstekend. Kamer met meerzicht was niet heel groot maar je bent er tenslotte alleen maar om te slapen. Groot balkon en prima badkamer. Uitgebreide keuze in ontbijt en het diner was voortreffelijk. All het personeel erg vriendelijk. Zwembad heerlijk. In de buurt genoeg te bezoeken. Kortom, als je echt vakantie wil is dit hotel een echte aanrader.. Enig minpuntje is dat de wifi op de kamer niet echt goed werkt

I was VERY disappointed to be told by the dining area and reception staff that we were not permitted to sit on the delightful outside terrace area for our evening dinner because we were on a half board basis so we were expected to sit inside even though there was availability outside. This wasn’t made clear by TUI at the time of booking. We don’t choose to visit Italy in the summer months to sit inside for dinner as we do this most of the time in the UK. We were also made to feel discriminated against because we were on half board rather than visiting guests eating from the a la carte menu. I explained this to the reception staff when I requested to eat on the outside lakeside terrace but there was quite a hostile and unhelpful reaction. I then contacted TUI on the app and Pavel spoke to a member of reception staff and we were then allowed to sit outside. However I felt there was some attitude from Stephanie in reception as on the evening of a thunder storm with a lot of rain, I requested a table inside that night- her response was that a table had been prepared for us outside even though the terrace was closed to all other guests. Who eats outside in a thunder storm? I didn’t care for this difficult and ********** minded attitude and feel that it was appalling customer service. The position of the hotel on the lake is delightful and the rest of the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly but the attitude exhibited regarding the dining arrangements was unpleasant and we would therefore not choose this accommodation in the future.

We were a little disappointed with the food choices.

Welcoming, all staff were helpful, polite and kind. Location on Lake Orta was breathtaking.
