We told the receptionist that the air conditioning wasn’t working she said she would send a maintenance person round. They recommended that the AC needed regassing, but wouldn’t be able to get anyone to do it until Monday! The gave us a portable AC Machine however seen as it didn’t have a hose on it, so it just blew hot air back in to our apartment, which was very frustrating. It was very uncomfortable being in the apartment without AC. On Monday we went back in the afternoon to the reception to report that no one had been to fix the AC. One of the managers Claudia said we could move to another apartment, and she gave us passes to use the hotel pool. We packed all our stuff and moved to another apartment only to find that, the AC didn’t work in that one either! We went back to the reception and they offered to help us move yet again! We lost a day of our holiday with all of this disruption! Claudia did give us a free Belinese day bed for the day which we were very grateful to accept. I just wish they had offered to move us to another apartment on Friday in the first place. Then we wouldn’t have had to suffer the long weekend without any AC, plus this would have caused so much less stress and discomfort for our supposedly quiet relaxing holiday.

We booked an apartment with a juliet balcony. We actually got an apartment with a full balcony which was excellent.

Our late arrival at around 22.30hrs gave us an issue at the entry to the livvo hotel apartments. No one around and reception area locked up. I spotted a note on the door to go to the main hotel reception after hours. A 5 minute walkabout found the main reception. A staff member very kindly walked us round to our apartment, another walk with cases. This was really the only issue we had. The apartment was clean. Beds were comfy. A little walk to a nice pool area. Very nice pretty village of Puerto mogan gran canaria

The On line Description and pictures of the Livvo Apartments give the impression that the accommodation and swimming pool are part of the same complex when in fact there is a public thoroughfare between the pool complex and the apartments. The pool complex is owned by another company but is for the exclusive use of Livvo & Billy's apartment guests. Even though most of the apartments are self catering you are not allowed your own food around the pool area, you have to purchase from the pool bar, defeating the object of self catering. As a company TUI also failed to inform us of the building work to the adjacent apartments 5 metres away from our accommodation and the pool area, we had to walk through bits of a building site to get to the pool area each day. I have photos and Video should you wish to see them. There was also the Constant irritation of general building site noised all day around the pool area and from about 8am around our accommodation.
