The biggest thing for me is the lack of toilets. There were none by the kids pirate pool and the ones that were available were very small and there was a lack of baby changing facilities. Whilst I appreciate the accomodation blocks were only two floors a porter service or assistance with getting bags to and from our room would have been helpful. There were some airport style trolleys however these weren’t easy to manouver and there were only a couple. As per previous reviews the room was quite dated with only a wet room shower and no bath. The air con system was also very old. When going out to the patio I noticed there was no door handle on the patio side which was suprising. The bed was also very uncomfortable the frame was like a sofa bed, creaking everytime I moved and I could feel the frame. The kids entertainment was ok but I feel all the songs should have been in English as that was the majority of the clientele. On a postive note the reception and restaurant staff were all very friendly and great with the kids. The pirate pool was good fun although cold when you first got in. All inclusive drinks were of a good quality however the food was hit and miss depending on what you like. Personally for me I wouldn’t return unless there were updates made to the hotel.

The Zafiro Menorca is a very nice hotel. It is definitely to be recommended for families with good facilities and activities. The rooms are of a good quality. Food and bar services are good - even without there being any speciality restaurants which are often found at all inclusive hotels. The thing that stops me from giving all top marks is that having payed a reasonable amount I would have expected to have the room safe included and also for there to be some tea/coffee available in the room.

Clean and quiet. We asked for ground floor and we got it.
