    “Viva Dominicus Palace sehr zu empfehlen!”

    Wir waren zum vierten Mal hier. Vor kurzem wurde das Brüderhotel Viva Beach vom Brand getroffen. Wir wussten nicht was uns diesbezüglich vor Ort erwartet. Aber wir waren begeistert. Beim Viva Cafe ist ein Teil für Mittag- und Abendessen aufgebaut. Da waren Grill Sachen sehr köstlich. La Placita auf der Beach Seite war während unseres Aufenthalts wiedereröffnet, wo man auch ein Snack Bar und am Abend verschiedene Partys hatte. Die a la carte Restaurants \"25\" und \"Atlantis\" sind im Palace neu geöffnet und sehen sehr schön aus. Das Service und das Essen waren auf dem hohen Niveau. Die Zimmer waren sauber und jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Hauptrestaurant La Yuca war komplett in Ordnung, man könnte immer was leckeres finden, vor allem Obst und Meeresfrüchte. Das Meer ist der Hauptgrund warum wir da sind und sieht wunderschön aus. Hier in Süden gib es kein Sargassum, so dass das Wasser nie verschmutzt ist. Das ist ein großer Vorteil. Man kann hier auch verschiedene Sportarten (Kayak, Padel, Catamaran) kostenlos jeden Tag ausprobieren. Für das spezielle Entertainment am Pool in Nachmittagsstunden haben eine Sängerin und ein Saxophonist gesorgt. Am Abend war immer ein Band im Beach Bar und hat gute Atmosphäre gemacht. Danach könnte man im Theater vom Entertainment Team immer wieder was Neues sehen. Es war nie langweilig.

    Great hotel need more shows at night though should be every night not just 1 a week very quiet at night fairly clean food good lots of choice great beach

    Tui Assured us in writing that all facilities were open as usual and that none had been affected by the sister hotel 200 yards away that had unfortunately been burnt down only weeks before. This was simply not the case! My 3 sons and I are Padel enthusiasts and the padel court was beyond repair and therefore not able to be used! we went outside the complex on 10 separate occasions and paid extra for padel courts - in the region of $1200. I already made a formal complaint about this to your onsite TUI rep - but i am in no doubt that this hasnt been passed on. Furthermore the animation hotel team were the worst i have ever experienced, no schedule, we enjoy playing water polo - this happened once during our stay!! Excuse after same excuse was the fire - same with most everything else - all being blamed on fire. Attitude of staff were terrible - theu seem to resent having to accomodate us in anyway shape or form! Beach water activities - every single afternoon they simply say big boss cancelled the use of the catamaran due to wind weather - it was an excuse not to get them out or the windsurfing boards out either. Even though i was able to show them that i was and am a competant sailor. Each morning there was a prebooked cats which involved one of the beach team taking the clients out - this was prioritised as they would seek getting tips! Another bad experience was the spa - we agreed a price with one of the representatives who comes and disturbs whilst lounging on the sunbed. My wife and I attended the spa at the agreed time - only to be told - sorry they cant do the 80 mins (that we had booked) they can do the 50 mins - and guess what at the same price as what we had agreed the 80 mins for!! Needless to say we about turned and left the spa - never to return during our stay! The whole holiday was a disaster from beginning to end - this was all brought to the attention of your Tui Rep - but again i have no confidence that this will have been passed on. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we should have been offered a viable alternative to this - as it was all farcical. With the main complaint being the Padel - and incurring all the extra expense. 6 of us booked through TUI - unless we get some sort of resolution on all of thgis - we wont be rushing to book through TUI again!!
