    “Ciepło”

    Fajny duży pokój z dwoma strefami sypialnia i część dzienna. W części dziennej narożnik pełniący funkcję przystawki dla 3 osoby (wyglądał ok ale jednak nie wygodny gdyż na środku wysiedziany i spało się prawie jak w hamaku. Łazienka z prysznicem i wanną i osobno zamykaną toaletą.

    Food was absolutely disgusting always cold covered in flies lift was constantly breaking down both of them cleaners never cleaned room or changed bedsheets or towels or bins no entertainment day or night

    As previously noted contracted severe Gastroenteritis at the start of 10 day holiday due to contaminated food and water was unable to treat until I came home was tested and diagnosed by emergency walk in Medical Center. Delays upon arrival for coach transfers due to incompetence of TUI rep at airport. Hotel restaurant was very unhygienic flies all over food no fly screens what so ever. !st floor of hotel was for Dementia Care patients who stayed at hotel. No rep was seen at Saphir Palace and when telephoned by reception did not answer!!! Air Conditioning turned off on 30th September hence poor sleep for the remainder of hols due to room temperature.Unable to open balcony door due to LOUD LOUD music from beach bars, REVVING motorbikes and horse carriages playing LOUD music!! Beach bar facilities unkempt toilets filthy walkway very dangerous loose planks. Hotel manager never seen!!!

    Lack of choice of food in main restaurant and was usually cold. Never tried the al a carte restaurants but felt mislead with the workings of these. Only choice during the day was the main restaurant for lunch and the a snack bar which opened at 4pm and served doughnuts only on one day!! The beach restaurant didn't offer snacks and you had to prebook this or pay. Nothing available around the pool area or beach so had to dry out to before going to the main restaurant.

    The hotel doubles up as a retirement home all the 1st and 2nd floor is for elderly, wheelchair chair bound and end of life clients. The TUI rep asked us to try tip hotel staff as there wages was only £300 per coming month and if we went on x2 day Sahara please try to tip the people out in the desert/Sahara as they have nothing but will show us great hospitality … we felt the meeting with the TUI rep was mainly focused on tipping everyone and warning us about going in any shops without any guide while in Tunisia
