We arrived in our hotel at 10pm after a long journey to find we had no room due to a plumbing issue. We were given another room 5 mins away had to just unpack our night clothes then return to our original hotel the next morning but having to wait until 130pm to access our room. We were only in tenerife 3 full days and felt this impacted massively on our holiday nearly a day wasted getting our room. No TUI rep in the hotel so the guy behind the desk had to sort all this out. Will re think about booking again with tui not a good experience at all.

The food was truly appalling!! Although I am quite fussy, I can usually find something that I can eat, however, simple things like cheese slices or ham where absent at all meals, except breakfast, so I could not fall back on such simple foods when the main meals where too spicy/weird!!

the accommodation although clean was a bit dated and basic. i probably should have read the small print but upon arrival. had to pay (some refundable deposits) for 1) a remote control for a smart tv whereby you could not use any apps and were restricted to approx 5 standard channnels eg bbc, itv. this was disappointing 2) additional fee for wifi in the room which was constantly intermittent and ended up costing me and my daughter so much money buying additional roaming data packages for our pay as you go phoned on top. it also made me anxious that i may arrive at the airport on way home and need something online which i would not be able to access due to having to use mobile data in a room that i paid additional wifi fee for so that i didn’t have to use 3) additional fee for a remote to use the air conditioning 4) additional fee to borrow a kettle although there were 2 tea cups in the room. 2 plates. 2 saucers and 2 saucepans with 2 sets of cutlery and 2 glasses but was useful having a hob and most definitley a fridge but there were no bowls or jugs or any other utensils our return flight was at 6:40pm and check out of the hotel at noon. there was a courtesy room available to store luggage which was appreciated but you weren’t able to use the all inclusive facilities after noon. The entertainment consisted of different singers each night. mainly music from the 60s/70s although there was a parrot show. the female entertainer on the monday night was by far the best there was an excursions guy located at reception each day who was very helpful with booking activities. the hotel staff were also helpful and polite the food on a whole was disappointing. although options there was very limited choice so ate out quite a bit. i think we were spoiled before staying at the Globales in Menorca the drink selection for all inclusive was limited but this wasn’t a problem for me the hotel was in a good spot for getting to the beach and aqualand and the shops. the taxi services were great along with the free bus great location but the hotel for me was a bit basic although the staff were lovely
