Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Cabana Bay Beach Resort and really enjoyed our holiday. Our first impression wasn’t the best, as check-in took around an hour. Unfortunately, the reception staff didn’t seem particularly friendly or confident, and it felt as though they weren’t entirely sure what they were doing, which made the process much longer than expected. That said, once we got to our room, it completely exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable and had an amazing view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was excellent, and the transport to and from the Universal parks was brilliant and incredibly convenient. The Bayliner Diner staff were always friendly and welcoming, and the housekeeping staff were pleasant too. However, the housekeeping could have been better. Our beds were made each day and the bins emptied, but our bed sheets weren’t changed at all during our week’s stay, and the room wasn’t cleaned as thoroughly as we would have expected. Despite these few issues, we absolutely loved staying at Cabana Bay. The facilities, location and overall atmosphere made it a wonderful place to stay, and we would happily recommend it and return in the future.

It's a very busy hotel, popular with Americans too, a little rough round the edges, a little maintenance is probably required. However we would definitely consider staying there again.

This is the second time we have stayed at Cabana Bay and we loved it just like the first time. We will definitely go back again in the future.
