    We would only recommend the accommodation due to the staff! They were the stars and made our holiday. We struggled with food & drink, but the staff went above and beyond to make the experience. A special thank you to the following, Hedi & Miriam at guest services, they helped with any food issues. Freyah from teens club was absolutely amazing with our daughter Lola! She had a great holiday and made lots of new friends from across Europe, what an experience! This is a big thank you to Freyah for getting her involved and making her holiday the best she’s ever had! Raja from activities has the biggest smile and so warm and welcoming and fab at getting everyone involved in the activities programme! The other staff I didn’t get names for, but security at the beach, every morning helped set up beds and get a table and always knew where we preferred to sit. The coffee guy at Wunda Bar in a blue T-shirt, every morning knew our order without us asking! How does he remember everyone’s order?!! Our cleaner was always happy to see us and we would have a chat with her and she always left the room immaculate with little towel art every day. The food and drink require improvement. Food I had to be careful, it was more often than not tepid and not hot. They also repeatedly used the same tongs for raw and cooked meat/fish. I did raise this as a concern. There is very little choice on the drink front and you had to pay if you wanted anything like Irish cream or Malibu and 2 drinks were £25!! Thats single shots too! That’s too much when you’ve paid for an AI concept. The only drinks on offer are basic rum, vodka, brandy, whiskey, beer & wine are options. I couldn’t drink the alcohol on offer as the taste was awful, hubby drank beer. This is only an observation and not a complaint, we regularly go to Egypt and they offer pretty much all drinks, so I expected the same here. But it’s not the same, it’s Egypt 15yrs ago! The activities this hotel offers outshine the cons! The list is endless and kept each of us occupied! It was great being out on the sea in the canoes everyday, going on a banana boat and so much more that’s on offer! The reps that work in the activities really do make this hotel! The beach is fab too, it could do with a clean though! I kept picking up cups and plastic wrappers and putting them in the bin. I think a team of cleaners and more bins would help this. I know really it’s down to guests to do their bit, but lots of smokers just put their butts on in the sand. Overall we had a good holiday. Thank you Magiclife team!

    Always the transfer from the hotel to the airport is tricky and confusing there was a wait and then not always clear if it’s the right coach. Maybe a rep to support with the transfer.

    In one of our rooms the aircon dripped water on to the floor which would have been a trip hazard. As we went in October we didn’t actually need to use the aircon and it wasn’t a problem when turned off. Just would have been had we gone in the height of summer. In our other room the safe didn’t work, we asked reception to fix both problems on the first day, someone came to have a look, said they would come back later to fix and never did. We managed to make do with just the one safe and not using the aircon but should really have been dealt with

    We travelled as 4 females and felt some of the male staff spoke down to us. Tunisia is not somewhere I would travel to again.
