    Not the standard of a TUI luxury hotel. Food was absolutely awful. Amenities were totally lacking. Hotel staff were not friendly. Looked for help from TUI to change hotels and took multiple days to get a response. Have booked multiple TUI vacations and this experience would make me never want to book with TUI again

    Just so many fundamental elements of the hotel that just weren’t right so near yet so far. There was no evening entertainment to describe it was really sad. I didn’t hear music for a week. And The restaurant experience is like a cattle market, no decent one-way system so everybody crashes into everybody, shortage of crockery, shortage of glasses, there were plenty of vegetarian meals but they weren’t labelled well which made it really hard for two vegetarians in our party, the food at the specialist restaurant was worse than the capital market. And the drinks machines in the restaurant was simply a joke.

    I was also by the way the hotel was rated and marketed. TUI advertised the hotel as a 5-star property, which was a key factor in my booking decision. However, the hotel itself identifies as a 4-star hotel. This discrepancy is confusing for customers, as it creates the impression that they are purchasing a stay at a genuine 5-star hotel when that is not the hotel’s own classification. The confusion is compounded by the fact that TUI does not appear to offer a higher rating category above 5 stars. As a result, customers have no way of distinguishing between hotels that are officially rated 5 stars and those that TUI has independently upgraded to a 5-star rating. Greater transparency around hotel classifications would help customers make informed decisions and avoid misunderstandings.
