Direkt vor dem Hotel liegt die wunderschöne Promenade. Folgt man ihr Richtung Side, gelangt man nach etwa 6 km direkt zu den historischen Ausgrabungsstätten. Ein romantischer Spaziergang empfiehlt sich besonders am späten Nachmittag. Sides Apollon Tempel erstrahlt dann in zauberhaftem Licht und ist ein begehrtes Fotomotiv. Beim Tempel befinden sich einige lauschige Bars mit besonderem Flair, hier lässt sich der Sonnenuntergang bei einem Cocktail besonders schön beobachten.

    Overall it was disappointing but I'll list some of the positives first: 1. Very clean and modern hotel 2. Nice room 3. Gym and Spa 4. Food choices 5. Staff were good at the pool 6. Good, free Wifi all around the hotel including outside. Negatives: 1. Poor attitude overall from 'Guest Relations' - unable (unwilling) to help with any request we made. 2. Strange and inconsistently applied pool lounger reservation policy - you could get a 'ticket' threatening to remove your towels if you just happen to go in the pool whilst they were on their policing rounds. Others got away with literally leaving beds unattended for hours. 3. Beach area overcrowded and not as nice as some other hotels we've been to in the area 4. Not enough sun loungers around the pool but lots of unused space where they could do more. (hence the need for the poorly executed reservation policing) 5. Lack of seemingly any of the staff to speak English. They were all German speakers and all assumed every guest was German. No offense to any Germans, just not a great experience if you're not. 6. Poor entertainment both in the day and evening. Pool area lacked any atmosphere at all. 7. Food, although varied, was not great quality ingredients (ie. barn eggs, poor quality meat cuts) 8. All inclusive drinks were watered down and not nice at all. You have to pay extra for anything decent. 9. Not too much in the immediate area without getting a cab into town

    Animation for evening entertainment is very basic. There are a variety of shows, but having visited this hotel several times previously the evening entertainment wasn’t the best. Overall accommodation is very clean, but rooms and bathrooms in rooms are starting to look tired. It would be good for TVs to be updated to accommodate streaming of media as there are very limited channels. The beach is also not as clean as previous visits, from litter to general setup of beds/umbrellas. Again comparing to previous visits it was disappointing. Food is very good, although it can feel repetitive for breakfast. Pool and spa was not used, but appeared pleasant. Staff are brilliant all around.

    “In manchen Teilen leider nur Mittelmäßig”

    Das Hotel war okay, sauber, was massiv gestört hat, war, dass Katzen selbst im Essensbereich waren und man sich das Problems, selbst nach Gesprächen mit dem Hotelmanager, nicht ausreichend angenommen hat. Am Strand war es leider extrem laut! Beim Essen überwiegt die Quantität. Auf keinen Fall fünf Sterne, vier wären richtig. Der nötige Dresscode wurde, trotz schriftlicher Hinweise, vom Hotelpersonal nicht durchgesetzt. Dann muss man sich nicht wundern, wenn Personen mit Flipflops und Hosen, die in den Bereich einer Badehose kommen, beim Dinner auftauchen. Ferner wurde nicht genügend eingeschritten gegen Personen, die bereits morgens schon die liegen mit Handtüchern belegt haben. Personal war sehr freundlich und stets bemüht, einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.

    The only problem we had was the policy of removing personal items from saved sunbeds at 9am. This meant we couldn’t leave for breakfast till after 9. Though people then left their beds for most of the day so not sure how that solved the problem of people not using saved beds.

    “Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel”

    Das gesamte Hotel war sehr toll sauber und komfortabel . Aber das gesamte Personal war Bombe . würde ich immer wieder weiter empfehlen.
