    Our overall experience at TUI BLUE Lindos Bay was pleasant, but ultimately quite average. The resort has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff were consistently friendly and professional, which we really appreciated. There was a nice, laid-back feel to the hotel and we found it an easy place to unwind. That said, we felt the accommodation itself could benefit from some investment and updating. In particular, the bathrooms are starting to look quite dated and would benefit from refurbishment. There are also areas around the hotel that feel a little tired and could do with some attention to bring them back up to the standard you would expect from the resort. Our room was comfortable enough, but it didn’t particularly stand out or feel especially special. As this was a very memorable holiday for us as we got engaged during our stay, we had perhaps hoped for a little more attention to detail and a greater sense that the hotel was making the occasion feel special. We also felt that some small details could have been handled better. For example, despite the hotel being aware that we had got engaged, we had two separate single sheets on the bed for most of our stay. While this is a relatively minor point, it did feel slightly impersonal, particularly as we were staying as a couple on a special occasion. Overall, I wouldn’t say we had a bad experience at the hotel, we certainly didn’t dislike it, but equally, we didn’t love it. It was comfortable, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were lovely, but the accommodation felt somewhat tired in places and didn’t quite have the quality or attention to detail that would make us want to return. A refurbishment of the bathrooms and some general investment in the rooms and communal areas would, in our opinion, make a noticeable difference to the overall experience.
