Wie wäre es mit einem Ausflug an den etwa 3 km langen Naturstrand La Cinta, einem der schönsten Strände Sardiniens? Er liegt etwa 10 km vom Hotel entfernt bei San Teodoru und besticht mit flachem, türkisfarbenem Wasser, das an die Karibik erinnert. Restaurants, Strandbars, kostenpflichtige Parkplätze und Wassersportmöglichkeiten vervollständigen das Angebot. Ein Traumziel für Natur- und Strandliebhaber gleichermaßen. Mit etwas Glück lassen sich in der Lagune hinter dem Strand sogar Flamingos entdecken.

    1. **Room cleanliness** The room had domestic ants everywhere. On day 4, the cleaner left us insect spray, but this should have been dealt with properly before we arrived. 2. **Food and drinks** The choice of food was very limited, and the meat was often so tough that it was difficult to chew. On two days, there wasn’t even any chicken available. The cups were dirty, with lipstick stains, and many of them were cracked. The alcoholic cocktails were also extremely poor quality and seemed to contain mostly sugar, with very little alcohol or flavour. 3. **Activities and entertainment team** For the first time ever, I experienced an activity team that did not go around the hotel to invite guests to participate. If you were sitting by the bar, they simply wouldn’t bother to come over and let you know about activities taking place nearby, including those on the fitness platform. The pool bar entertainment was also disappointing, as the entertainment staff member was constantly late. 4. **À la carte restaurant** The fact that the à la carte restaurant is shared with the bar is very odd. Guests are expected to wear smart dress while people are sitting right next to the restaurant in bikinis at the bar. Personally, I found this setup so strange that I didn’t even bother booking the restaurant. 5. **Swimming pool** I didn’t use the swimming pool because it was completely packed with adults and children. The pool was also very shallow, with the depth only reaching around waist height. There was therefore no real opportunity to swim properly. 6. **Overall TUI BLUE experience** TUI BLUE is supposed to offer a higher standard than a standard hotel, but unfortunately, this particular hotel felt very low-level in almost every aspect. Based on my experience, it did not meet the standards or expectations I would associate with the TUI BLUE brand.

    When we arrived we were in opposite ends of the accommodation from my children as one of our rooms was deluxe and one was standard. We were unaware that this would be the case. The next day we were moved but charged €300 for this “upgrade”. It should have been free in my opinion, eventually our TUI rep as a good will gesture contributed 50% towards the upgrade cost. I found the experience unnecessarily confusing and stressful.
