    First time at this hotel and I loved it. The staff were friendly, the place is spotless and the choice of food is excellent. I would say that the average age of the guests was about 60, which suited us. The hotel is 10 steps away from a pebble beach with clear water. Plenty of sun beds on the beach, no need to get up at dawn to put a towel down, the two pools also had beds available even though some guests did reserve beds. One pool is in a quiet spot with fewer beds than the main pool. Both serve drinks. The main pool has a snack bar nearby which is open from 11 The hotel is in a remote area, however if you go up the very steep hill to the main road, there is a local bus stop. We went to Kassiopi for €8 return.

    This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. Hotel showing signs of slight drop in standards. Clearly had maintenance / repair work done in past 12 months.. Paint drips and old plaster on floors. Plumbing constantly making noise .. Coffee machines in dining hall often not working, lifts had problems. It’s 108 steps from Ground to Restaurant level. Both A La Carte restaurants, OK but certainly not great.. Staff need training on drinks.. must gad no idea what a Spritzer is, and despite explaining Soda water that should have been in with wine, came as a separate drink in a glass and left us to pour ourselves.. General small signs of not being on top of their game.
