The food was just terrible - hardly any choice and if you were later in the evening (just a 2 hr slot for dinner) ie in the last hr choice was even less and supplies were not replenished. At least I loss weight however part of the holiday experience should be enjoying the food - we were half board but went out to eat more than we would normally.

On the plane the seats were to close very uncomfortable both ways hardly any room to move, food at the hotel was very poor only eat there twice so had to eat out every night. Hotel was fantastic and staff were the best we ever had top class customer.

Thalassi hotel is a lovely, family run hotel. Specifically, Eva and Steffi were very pleasant, but all the staff within the hotel made us feel welcome and answered any questions we had. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the fool area had recently been renovated. The pool bar was open until midnight every night, so offered the opportunity to sit and have drinks whilst playing games or chatting. The only part we were slightly disappointed with was the restaurant, but we feel the description on the TUI website could be improved to better manage expectations. We arrived with the assumption that you could sit right by the sea whilst dining, but this area of the restaurant is reserved for those ordering from the À la carte menu only. Hotel guests on half or full board can’t use this area, unless they pay extra. The restaurant owner made us feel uncomfortable by forcing us to leave a review, only to approach us the next day and accuse us of not leaving one. Furthermore, we were never offered drinks, so always had to ask for the drinks menu or go up to the bar and order ourselves. Whilst the food was very flavoursome and the views of the sunset unparalleled, the service in the restaurant was disappointing, but everything else about the hotel was fantastic.

It was a quiet , relaxing accommodation.
