    “Mooi hotel”

    Het hotel heeft een fantastische ligging midden in de natuur met veel dieren om je heen. We hadden iedere dag slingerapen op ons balkon, heel bijzonder. De kamer was erg schoon en lekker ruim. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en zeggen allemaal gedag als ze je tegen komen. Verder kun je onbeperkt eten in verschillende a la carte restaurants waar het eten lekker is. Het hoofd restaurant is ok. Wel jammer dat ze de reserveringssysteem om 12 uur 's nachts open zetten waardoor je 's nachts de wekker moet zetten om in een van de a la carte restaurants te kunnen eten. Wat minder is, is dat je niet kon zwemmen in het zeewater vanwege zeewier. Verder is het water in de zwembaden vies, die bij het strand zelfs troebel. Dat mogen ze wel wat vaker schoonmaken. Voor de rest is er in de buurt veel te doen, zoals Maya opgravingen maar ook activiteiten zoals ziplinen. Al met al is dit hotel een aanrader als je van natuur en dieren houdt. Je kijkt je ogen uit. Verder zeer vriendelijk personeel, de kamers zijn ruim en het eten is goed.

    Pretty good, we went for the wildlife / nature on site and were definitely not disappointed with that. I think the cost and star rating is accurate for the accommodation. Food and drink were a bit disappointing at times, probably amongst the least good all inclusives we've been to in that respect. But room, staff, location, facilities and wildlife spot on. We knew about the average food and drink from reviews before booking, so were expecting what we got. 4/5 overall.

    Food really bad if vegetarian or if you have dietary requirements as food labels wrong and untensils shared amongst foods so lots of cross contamination

    Hotel Could be amazing, but so much was wrong or disappointing. Hotel do not have good communication - especially at check in and out. Check in takes forever! tell you to wait for a lift to room but the queue was massive and we didn't really know what was going on so we just walked and found our way. check out had its own line yet no one said this and lots of us eneded up in the check in queues taking forever when we could of been checked out in ten minutes. having to bring blue towels from pool because they wouldnt exchange to cards in the heat with all our luggage was unnecessary and exhausting in the heat. some food places shut or where we thought we could eat we couldn't because we wasn't select or elite. El Nido was a disgrace took forever to get served and when we did we were told tacos and only 3 3 meat toppings even though there was more topping and sometimes other things on the menu. Japanese place we were made to sit on overcrowded table with a family that was alot larger then us causing my partner to be in the same eating space touching legs and not a good vie despite being first. if only 3 seats available we shouldn't of been sit there. No food available for kids just to go up and get all sit down/table service meals which made things really difficult on such a large site. Pool got dirty and not one person came during the day to even try clean the leaves/dirt and bugs out we was swimming and getting people hair wrapped around our fingers. staff coming round asking for drinks order but never brought them. the room was ok, we stopped letting the cleaner in because they were doing a shocking job thinking they couldn't do any worse we stopped tipping them leaving them to not even sweep the floor, restock the fridge or give us toilet roll!! we ended up cleaning our selves having to go into the cleaners cupboard to the brush and toilet rolls. AC Was leaking and Sounded broken kept cracking extremely loud through out the night. shower leaked into the toilet through the wall would leave puddle by the toilet. site other than this and some very ignorant and abrupt people who were also staying the hotel grounds were nice and we enjoyed our selves for the time we was here we did make the decision to take more days out due to some of the above. Also vendors on site on Wednesday and Friday though this is a nice idea they completely rob customers. my partner bought a whistle that they said $1800 but for you $1300 managing to get him down to $1200 yet in the shop on site they was $400 !! and off site were around $200-400 I find shocking the site would even allow this daylight robbery for their hotel guest.
