The accommodation facilities were excellent. The room we received was very nice and the pool area and all restaurants were good. The service in the accommodation was not good. Certain restaurants had excellent service however the buffet restaurant staff were not good or attentive. The reception staff were very bad and continually did not have answers for questions and even argued among themselves in front of us at one stage.

“11 Nights in Cancun”
We stayed for 11 nights in this hotel. It is supposed to have a 5 Star rating. The Deluxe Double Room is pretty big with enough place for all the baggage you can have. There is a bigscreen TV in front of the bed. The balcony offers a side view of the ocean and lagoon. You can access the safe and open the room door with your armband. The doors on the other hand are really old and starting to decay. The same can be said about the bathroom sink and furniture. We slept most of the time very bad… the noise level was way above the average. Probably the isolation is missing. The wireless connection is ok just in the room and very bad outside of it. You can forget about reading online media while chilling in the garden or pool area. The facilities were good. Nice Gym and Spa. Also enough activities to do every day. Quality music for all genres. A minus goes to the cold water in the pool. The resort has 4 restaurants and a buffet. Seasons, Gaijin and Frattini offer a variety of very good food served in a nice environment. Awesome dining shows! Friendly and competent staff! St. ********** is located by the pool / ocean… nice view but average food. We booked an all-inclusive stay via TUI thinking we can have acces to all that the hotel has to offer. The reality is a little bit different. The best spots at the pool/beach/restaurants are reserved for the „royal elite“ … a vacation club for special hotel clients. If you come to the pool at 9 30 o‘clock… the chances of you finding a free longchair or umbrella are pretty small. Because our plane was leaving in the evening we asked for a late check-out… no possibility here. If you are comming from europe keep in mind bringing a travelers kit because the phone chargers won‘t match the sockets.

“Schattenhotel”
Auf Grund des direkt daneben befindlichen (Hochhaus-)Hotels, verschwand die Sonne am frühen Nachmittag hinter dem Gebäude und das Areal lag komplett im Schatten.
