Building work started before seasons end lots of rubble and noise limited access not good for us but will improve hotel for next season

Friendly staff. Modern and clean room. Good view of the sea. Useful having a lift. Good sized pool and lots of sunbeds. Room cleaned regularly and towels changed every day. A bit more variation of breakfast food would be nice

The rooms look very nice but are not that practical, there are no drawers so everything has to be left out on the side making it look untidy all the time. The rooms were only cleaned every 3rd day, the only things done on a daily basis was a change of towels and the bins emptied (as you had to put soiled toilet tissue in the bin in the bathroom, emptying it daily was essential). We had paid extra for a sea view but were very disappointed with the room we got as we were looking directly onto another accommodation block and could only see the sea if we turned sideways. The pool area was very nice but sometimes had to wait until early afternoon before there was towels available. As we were on a bed and breakfast board basis we were expecting a good variety of food to be available, again we were very disappointed with what was on offer. It was virtually the same every morning, at the beginning of our holiday there was 4 choices of cereals, by the end of the 1st week this was reduced to 2 and at the end of the 2nd week it had dwindled to just 1. There was scrambled egg EVERY day which was poor quality (more like a mashed up omelette). The food you could order at lunch and dinner was better but of course you were paying extra for this , we were intending to eat at the hotel restaurant on a couple of occasions only to be told when we got there that the kitchen was closed, no notice or prior warning of the closure was given. On the middle weekend of our stay there was an event being held at the hotel (a local engagement party) again there had been no prior notice of this given to us and the first we heard of it was when party organisers arrived around midday and began moving sunbeds etc from around the pool area, we were all still trying to sunbathe and enjoy our day so it was very offputting to say the least, we counted approximately 40 tables and 400 chairs so no small occasion and again the restaurant and bar were closed to hotel guests. When we arrived at the hotel we met the owner in reception who told us that during the off season he would be renovating the blocks of self catering apartments, what he omitted to say was that he intended the work to start before the end of the summer season and while he had guests already staying at the hotel but also new guests that were arriving all the time, there was contractors dismantling solar panels from the roof, and removing doors, furniture and beds at one point there were mattresses being thrown out of upstairs windows, this was totally unacceptable and just proved that the owner had no regard for his customers. Needless to say, we will not be going back to the Samira Resort Hotel

The room wasn’t cleaned every day, and we were removed from the pool and bar from midday because the hotel had taken a booking for an engagement party for 100+ people

We moved to the hotel and paid upgrade hotel was beautiful but our self catering accommodation was terrible old and dirty photos were not accurate when booking with tui
