    The hotel room service and by that I mean the making up of the room, refilling the mini fridge, replenishing the water, cleaning the mugs and being provided the correct amount of towels was all issues we encountered. We had to ask for an extra towel 5 nights of the 11. Numerous days we didn’t have the mini fridge with new cans. Dirty mugs from the previous day. The double bed sheet was dirty one day from a juice spillage. The sheet was just flipped over so it wasn’t visible instead of changed. The last night our baby had an accident. We stripped the bed and asked for a replacement. It was replaced with no Matteress protector. A sheet placed on the matteress not tucked in. A single duvet. Not 5* service.

    The buffet was awful, food not labelled properly, kids allowed to run riot, all the food tasted the same. All the à la carte restaurants were closed. The children’s restaurant was just food from the buffet. The boardwalk at the beach was broken and uneven in places, my 2 year old grandson cut his toes tripping on it. The room was nice and the pools lovely. TUI could have told us the fun fair was for over 3’s but didn’t so that was sad for the little one.

    We loved the holiday, however the big downfall was the main food restaurant. There was a great range of food selection but everything was luke warm or cold, even the plate warmers were not switched on. We found the chafing platters were not heated and even the ones with a temperature gauge were set to sub ambient temperatures. This meant for us we had a limited choice of food to choose from, so were very disappointed. The hottest food we ate was at the pool bar were the pizzas were fresh out the oven. The other gripe was the banging loud music playing throughout the day around the pool and pool bar which was always the same genre all the time.
