    Too remote needs to be reflected in the description we booked bed and breakfast because we wanted to eat out, but in fact had to eat in the hotel because there were no restaurants within walking distance

    The accommodation was of a good standard overall and lived up to its five-star rating in many respects. The resort was generally very clean and well maintained, with staff working hard to keep the public areas and rooms looking presentable. While some areas of the hotel were beginning to look a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment, this didn’t significantly affect our enjoyment of the stay. One aspect worth noting is the location. Although it offered a peaceful and relaxing setting, it was quite remote, meaning it wasn’t possible to take a leisurely walk into a nearby village or along a promenade. Transport was needed whenever we wanted to leave the resort, which reduced the flexibility to explore independently. The restaurant offered a good selection of food overall, particularly for adults, but we felt there could have been more choice aimed at younger guests. A wider range of child-friendly options would make mealtimes easier for families and enhance the experience for those travelling with children.
