When we got to the hotel eventually after having to walk at least half a mile up a steep hill from the drop off point we got to our room which basically I can only describe as a one star room which was supposed to be a five star hotel. The room was small and pokey. There was a seagull nesting on the balcony which skwaked every time we went near the window and then other seagull’s arrived. The balcony was completely covered in bird **********. The view looked like we had arrived in a war zone and the furniture especially the lampshades I would have thrown out from a jumble sale. I refused to stay in that room. It was disgusting. We were moved and the room was ok but definitely not 5 star. Think you need to have a good look what you are selling because would not go there again. Also quality of furniture really rubbish. Shelf in wardrobe not secure and when I put clothes on it the shelf collapsed and fell on my head. Would rate this hotel as 3 star. If it was not for the lovely helpful staff and especially the cleaner I would have left. Won’t be returning again.

It was an expensive hotel but it was a 5 star hotel and very good. The local staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and the local attractions, and the facilities within the hotel.
