    The pictures of the sea at the beach were misleading and not what we experienced

    The hotel restaurant gave my husband serious food poisoning, based on this alone I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone. Regarding the service in general, the staff did try to provide a good quality service and they were friendly, but didn’t always quite meet expectations. We sometimes had to ask for things that the hotel should have provided without asking, sometimes had to ask more than once, sometimes the requests took too long to fulfill. At one point a staff member confused room numbers and let himself into our room through the back door when we were in the room, this felt like w huge invasion of privacy. Most staff were lovely but there was one waiter at The Nine restaurant who was quite rude. The hotel bathroom could use a facelift, and there was hair on top of our shower head when we arrived.

    Really comfortable and lovely rooms and hotel areas.

    The room was 10/10, the hotel staff were 10/10 BUT the food, which is an important element of the holiday was so poor. There were several complaints from guests (us included), the Manager said it would change…it didn’t! Curries and stews most nights, cold where it sat under heat lamps, tough meat, and not much choice!
