“Entspannend, sehr schön”
Ein wunderschöner Urlaub, eine schöne Insel mit nur wenigen Touristen zu dieser Zeit, angenehme Temperaturen und La Dolce Vita !!

The accommodation experience fell well below what I expected from a TUI holiday and the standard advertised. My original ground-floor room was at the back of the property, with a small patio offering little privacy and overlooking an area used by other guests. There was significant noise from the road and neighbouring property, and when the patio door was closed the air conditioning was also noisy, making it difficult to sleep. I subsequently accepted an alternative room closer to reception because I did not feel comfortable remaining in the original room. I do not regard this as a voluntary upgrade, as I felt I had little practical choice. I was initially told there would be an additional charge before TUI became involved. There were also repeated issues with communication and service, including difficulties with the hotel shuttle, the handling of my massage booking, my passport not being returned promptly, and an incident concerning a bottle of wine where I was reprimanded for not following a hotel procedure that had not been made clear to me. As a vegetarian, I also found the evening dining arrangements particularly difficult, with several occasions where there was no clearly identified substantial vegetarian main meal and I was left waiting or having to ask staff what I could eat. On one evening I waited around 50 minutes for my main course while other guests were being served. There were some positive aspects, including that the hotel was generally clean and some individual staff members were helpful. However, the accommodation, communication and service issues collectively had a significant impact on my enjoyment of the holiday.
