We were all inclusive. The food was average with not enough meat options or variety. Sometimes the food was not hot enough and under cooked. The all inclusive did not start until 11 am which was too late. Too many rules around having to have a plastic cup with you all the time to get a drink through the day and if you did not have your cup then no drink, which was ridiculous. Also the cups were never exchanged or rinsed out before another drink was put in. The pool bar did not have enough staff serving so the service was very slow, causing big queues in 33 degree heat. Rooftop bar was not all inclusive and did not open until 12pm. Water should have been accessable at any point but wasn't and on a couple of occasions when we asked for water, we were informed we had to pay for it. Sometimes the only option to get a drink was to go down six floors to the pool bar (but don't forget your cup) 😩 There was not enough sunbeds to accommodate all the guests and the doors to the pool areas were not opened until 9am when there was a stampede to reserve sunbeds. All the staff were lovely and friendly and the room was nice.
Don’t book to go to this hotel, no way is it a four star hotel
Show moreIm an above knee amputee my TUI rep who booked or holiday asked for ground floor accommodation we were put on 2nd floor and quite a wails till elevator and eating halls. I also ended up in hospital after slipping in the shower and needed stitches in my arm and badly injured foot bruising from the fall because there was no handrails anywhere in the bathroom when reported was left to sort my own medical assistant the food was not of a good standard and ended up eating out a lot which added a lot of expense to the holiday over the week I booked PortAventura park tickets for the 3 parks which cost £300 for family of four. When I got to park after getting on first ride and went to get onto a second ride I was told i couldnt get on as I wasn’t accompanied by an adult because I had a disability I felt totally discriminated against and very embarrassed in front of my 13 year old son on the first ride I got on I was asked to remove my artificial leg in front of waiting crowd I refused and was let onto the ride which was great but after that the next ride just ruined the whole experience for myself and family. I went to park management and was told to take my disability band of and stand in the queue or pay €130 for a pass for me and my son. TUI should know these things about tickets they sell for these companies and inform the customer before selling the tickets i spoke to the TUI booking rep about my disability before booking the holiday I explained my disability and needs and when being sold these tickets this information should of been available to me before booking the holiday urs Daniel Campbell
