    Massive hotel , room cleaning could be better it’s the finishing touches that matter in a 5 star hotel, damp which makes a smell , alcohol choice should be branded at that price

    the hotel needs some TLC we had to change rooms due to the ceiling leaking above our shower the new room was not much better as the wardrobes were nearly falling off due to heavy mirrors inside we had a flashing light during the night, i was not moving room again so just left it. $1200 upgrade to adult side is an absolute insult. food in the main restaurant was poor for vegetarian options. bacon sausages and hash browns all next to each other and other customers using the same utensils for all so cross contamination guys burger was our choice at lunch or pizza as i could have something. the steak restaurant was very good and the italian. one night the main restaurant was closed with no advance warning assuming something had happened thus was not the case it was due to a large booking they opened up a beach meal for them and we had to try and get into any other restaurant none of these had been informed of this fortunately the italian fitted us in.. beach had lots of seaweed on the beach so difficult to swim in the sea as loads of seaweed here too. I would not return to this area and hotel

    Overall, the experience was poor on the whole in the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel cleanliness was not up to scratch with other Royalton properties we have stayed at. The room smelt of damp and the noise throughout the block we were in throughout our whole stay was ridiculous. For three days straight, there was a fire alarm sounding in either side of our hotel room, which was raised to the property at the time, and also to the Tuie rep, however there was no response or suitable apology from anyone on the property at all. My husband also went to reception to raise this and demonstrate the video we have of the alarm sounding, and there was no action taken. The food in the hotel was really bad, not a single hot meal was served except from in the taqueria restaurant. Everything else was cold or lukewarm, even the buffet did not have covers or heating elements within each tray. This is not something you experience from an all-inclusive resort having stayed at tens over the years

    A very warm and friendly welcome plus room was clean and welcoming, room service was good and a maid came in daily and cleaned our room
