Very large complex, hundreds of people. Would not choose this accommodation again as too big for me.

The entertainment staff was phenomenal so the following does not apply to them. The reception staff didn't seem to know what was going on. They gave us the wrong wristbands on the first day and incorrect information regarding spa pricing. Much of the staff struggles speaking English which became a problem when there was a fire in the hotel and staff struggled to relay information correctly, not even knowing the words for \"smoke\" or \"putting the fire out.\" We were left in the dark for almost 3 hours as staff hardly gave us information, or when they did, it was conflicting information. They couldn't get their story straight on where the fire was or the state of it, changing their answer every time they were asked. When we were finally allowed back into the hotel, they decided that they would let every booking in one by one, so after almost 3 hours sitting at the front entrance of the hotel, they started arbitrarily letting people back in. It seemed as though they had a list of guests and were mostly just calling out the Spanish and French guests as those were the languages they spoke. We were thankfully able to get in after only 30-40 minutes of this but there was still a huge crowd behind us. We are understandable of the fact that situations such as this can arise sometimes and if this were the only fire issue, then it would be less glaring. However a few nights prior to this event, a wing of the hotel filled up with smoke and guests had to be evacuated in the middle of the night. Glaringly, this evacuation and smoke fighting effort was undertaking by other hotel guests rather than staff who advised they didn't have any procedures for this situation and stated that they didn't know what to do. This is made all the more concerning by the fact that the fire alarm or smoke alarm was never once activated this first time. The staff was lacking in communication, organisation, and logistics so when things weren't going smoothly they just didn't know what to do and couldn't really explain anything to you. Insultingly, the complaint forms for guests to fill out, which we did following the fire, were only in Spanish. All the receptionist told us was to Google translate it, we did notice that the French guests had assistance from members of staff to fill out the forms. Neither us nor other English speaking guests, as far as we know, were offered this courtesy. There was a general air of not really caring from the staff. Additionally, the key cards to get into our rooms consistently did not work. There was always a queue at reception of people needing to get their cards redone. On one day, we had to go to reception 6 times to fix our keycards. On 2 seperate occasions, the key card reader on my children's room stopped working and maintenance had to fix it. For one last thing, the pool was dirty. The hotel decided to have this sandy area at their pool and all of that dirt got tracked into the pool everyday and it never seemed to be cleaned. This was not a major issue but taken in tandem with everything else it just highlights how the staff didn't really seem to care. While this didn't impact us at all, you may want to know that their kids pool was closed the entire time we were there, for maintenance. The food was also almost always cold, which is just not the experience you want when you pay so much to have the food included in your stay. The hotel itself was aesthetically nice but that's about it.

Alot and f the amenities were broken, the pool was dirty, no where near enough sun loungers, no where nice to site in the evening for a quiet drink, not enough seating, elevators were broken, door handles missing on toilet doors, locks broken, hotel staff some were friendly most were not, the food was awful, poor selection and always cold, even if I went to the restaurant as soon as it opened the food was not hot, I also truly believe I got food poisoning, there was a fire in one of the wings of the hotel but no information was given and the smell was horrendous, I would never go back to this hotel

Nothing at all close by. No bars, taverna, restaurants or shop around the accommodation. Top of a hill in a very residential area. Not good for anyone with mobility issues. Had to get taxi to get to the nearest beach as no shuttle bus service from the hotel. No local bus stops close by. Nothing for anyone that speaks English just the Spanish or French.
