The Hotel was situated on a cliff side. Therefore to access accommodation meant climbing very steep inclines. Room was basic no tea/coffee or milk provided. Kettle was leaking. Shower temperature was very inconsistent. One minute freezing cold. The next was scalding hot with no way of controlling.it.

Zakwaterowanie oceniamy pozytywnie — pokój był czysty, wygodny i zgodny z ofertą, a obsługa pomocna i uprzejma. Na plus zasługuje również lokalizacja oraz atmosfera hotelu.

Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. From the bar to our room there was 103 steps plus two steep climbs, we were on the 5th level of 6. Food was a bit repetitive if you like beer stew your onto a winner. Room was clean and to a good standard

The main hotel was very nice. The food was reasonable for a 3 star, & the dining room staff very helpful & friendly, but we weren’t entirely happy with the room. We booked a standard room with a sea view, but on arrival they had upgraded us to a superior room, but the sea view was only partial. They showed us the standard room which was along a grubby looking corridor & although it did have a better sea view it was also right next to the rather noisy car park so we decided to take the ‘Superior’ room. This proved to have a cubby hole with a bench behind it where the cleaners gathered for their breaks etc & we could hear their quite noisy chatter through the vents, even when showering. The bathroom remained damp the whole time & our towels never dried overnight. Fortunately we were provided with clean towels each day. The shower was more or less walk in, but the water did not drain away quickly enough & spilled over onto the bathroom floor & soaked the bath mat. On entering the shower there was an unpleasant smell from the drain. The safe did not work & reception told us to go back to our room when we reported this & someone would come to look at it & show us how to work it. After waiting more than an hour we gave up as we wanted to get on with our day. We ended up not being able to use the safe all week. There was no wardrobe, just a hanging rail & some shelves in a cubbyhole & our clothes always felt damp despite the warm weather. The electrics were also a bit dodgy. We put up with this situation as we got a good deal & it was only a 3 star hotel. The bed was very comfortable & there was a good sized tv, but could only get bbc news in English. There was also a fridge & kettle etc which was very useful. The balcony did not give any privacy as people were constantly walking past, but at least we did not have a long climb to our room as others did. Entertainment was on 2 evenings only & was very enjoyable. The seating areas looked very swish, but proved to be very low & hard to get out of. Some higher seating would have been nice for older people. It says on the hotel details that there is a minibus every half hour to take you down to the main road & back up again. We spotted it parked in the hotel garage, but never saw it in use. None of this prevented us from having an enjoyable holiday, but it was annoying.
