Hotel Nautilus, Barbati was a typical, basic Greek hotel which was great for us. The hotel was clean, food was fantastic, almost like staying at a taverna, the staff were very helpful and friendly

“Afgezonderd”

Was bij een natuurgebied in de buurt. Maar wandelen ging niet daar vlakbij het hotel. Het hotel ligt beetje afgezonderd en je moet goed te been zijn wil je over de grote weg het volgende dorp bereiken. Dus je was gebonden aan het hotel als je geen auto hebt. En de bus rijden daar wel. Maar zit de bus vol rijden ze aan je voorbij.

The accommodation was fine for a budget holiday. It was clean and adequate however it was dated and worn, it really needed a refresh. That being said it had a relaxed atmosphere, the staff where friendly and helpful. The pool area was spotless and the waterfront was a real gem albeit a very steep hill climb to get back up to the rooms. Some of the rooms face the main road and the traffic noise was quite loud at night but the other rooms were very peaceful and couldn't hear anything. Air conditioning was an extra coat but well worthwhile for us. The food was fairly traditional and became a bit repetitive after a week but that said my only complaint would be that it was a bit too salty for my taste.
