    The hotel is rated as 5 stars however the condition of the hotel is very old and needs a renovation. The hotel main building has a very old lift and sounds like it will fail. On first day the shower drain was blocked and flooded the bedroom. luckily they managed to fix and the cleaner did a job of cleaning the place up. There was 3 ali carte restaurants that you need to book into however we were only able to book into the hotel restaurants from the two last nights due to others who were members who already booked in via an APP. We were not told about this or else we would have done this before we went there. The overall quality of the food was very average and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. i have been to other 5 stars via TUI and in comparing them to this hotel i would say this was barely a 3 star based on food alone. cocktails were very average as well. Most staff were friendly however some staff were very short and not very helpful. including the concierge. The room had a minbar for water , soft drinks and beer etc and it took 3 days for it to be filled up as we called reception then went to the reception desk and then called reception again a total of 3 times just to get some water. the range of ali carte restaurants are unusual as well for a Greek hotel as one was Asian, one was Italian and another was Mediterranean with not much Greek food on offer. My wife also had suspected food poison, not sure where it came from as i was ok and we ate the same things. The one good thing we needed a late check out and it was relatively cheap to stay in same room for extra 5hours One final thing the TUI rep wasn't at hotel when forecasted. for example he said he would be there Thursday 27th August at 16:00 and when time came closer to then the app updated and the rep wasn't there for a the time we were at the hotel as we had to check out.

    Quality of food and drink was fantastic. Staff & cleanliness 5*, hotel was very helpful even before we arrived. Not the wow factor with decor as a little dated, but beautiful hotel. Animation and entertainment was quite disappointing. Wasn’t expecting big shows but even the low key, which would have been enough, the location and set up wasn’t good.
