Very small room very noisy no balcony or sea view. Non existent internet

Where to start, well firstly we were not in the hotel that we booked, which was the Mare Boutique. On arrival we were told the floor our room was on was having electrical problems so we were being upgraded to the sister hotel Mare Blue & Suites with sea view. Now this was fine as we were put in a lovely room with a sea view. Day 3 we saw two more people being moved to our hotel. They were originally booked into a lovely room in the Mare village and moved to a lesser room. After speaking with staff at the Boutique we were told no problems with electrics. Apparently this gets done quite frequently we were just lucky our room was actually an upgrade as this doesn't always happen. Another lady had booked a double room and switched to a tiny single room on arrival. The hotels are not equipped to withstand rainfall, we could not eat dinner at our hotel as no suitable seating area that was dry. The dinner area is under a cover that leaks (a lot!) And flimsy sails. So we were told to go to the Boutique which is upstairs eating. Well that wasn't much better, the area upstairs was flooded, and leaking. We sat at a table eating our dinner in two inches of water with a lovely waitress scraping the water under our table down the drain. The floor was so slippy (marble). On leaving we started down the steps where my husband slipped down cracking his ankle. No grip strips on the marble steps. Manager was called (not by us but another guest that had witnessed the incidebt) and all we were offered was two vouchers for a free cocktail! Manager was then surrounded by several disgruntled guests. All complaining hotel was not good enough, should not be 4 star. Was dangerous in wet weather. Having to pay for safe, sun beds, towels, drinks after certain times. Rooms were not up to standard. He then disappeared and sent out the receptionist with a voucher for each guest for again a free cocktail. I would not stay here again as to be honest you don't know where you will end up staying! Food is ok, same every night. Not freshly cooked on site gets brought to hotel. The plus side the waiting/cleaning staff are so lovely. Big shout out to Dina at the Mare Boutique for helping us after accident. A really lovely lady and George behind the bar for restaurant recommendations. We were half board but ate out a couple of times for a bit of variety! All inclusive you still have to pay extras where other hotels along the strip offer free sunbeds safe etc for hotel quests.

The hotel was spotless and right on the beachfront. Our room was modern and well appointed, but initially we did ask to be moved. Our first ground floor room was directly opposite reception and had no privacy, meaning we would have had to keep curtains closed when changing (which seems a shame in a sunny resort). The room also had security shutters which we couldn’t operate even with assistance from reception staff, so on the second day we requested we be moved to a room higher up and were given a new room on the second floor. The second floor room was lovely and had no privacy or security concerns. The bar and hotel staff were also really friendly and attentive.

Var litt slitent, med avskallet maling på rekkverket på balkongen. Lite oppbevaring, savnet klesstativ på balkongen. Lite kjøleskap, med dårlig fryser. Grei frokost og ok seng og bad. Fin beliggenhet.
