Hotel was advertised as a 5 star, however I would rate it as a 4 star. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the accommodation was comfortable. However, they didn't seem to have enough staff on duty in the restaurant and the service was lacking in some areas. Theat said, the staff were working hard and were very polite. The food was excellent. The accommodation was not luxurious enough to warrant 5 stars.

Makryamos bungalows is set in a beautiful pine forest. The accommodation was very much as described on the tui website. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Georgia who went above and beyond to make our holiday feel special. The buffet was the most disappointing part of the accommodation and definitely didn’t feel like a 5* experience. It was crowded and busy and extremely loud.

Accommodation was great, but the dining experience was chaotic. Not loads of choice of food, but most of a good quality, could always find something to eat. But wherever you sat, the dining experience was poor. Staff did their best, but children literally treating the dining room (inside and out) as a playground, riding scooters, playing football running all around made for a not pleasant experience.
