Rooms need a good revamp, very tired and bathroom especially needs attention, the floor gets absolutely soaked when showering due to the fact that there is no enclosure, just a curtain which does nothing. There was an open electrical switch on the bathroom wall and the room was never properly cleaned. Towels were changed daily if needed. We only used the Dream pool area which we found good but towards the end of the week we noticed the pool becoming a little dirty in parts with what looked like algae. Food and drinks at Dream bar were very good and reasonably priced. We were on a bed and breakfast format and found the breakfast ok but monotonous after a few days so we ate breakfast in the town on our last 2 days. Tried to time it in the breakfast room when it wasn’t busy because if it is busy, it becomes very tight especially around the buffet serving area. The one thing that really does stand out at this hotel is the amazing staff. Every member of staff we encountered were so polite and extremely helpful if needed. These are a credit to the hotel management and should be applauded. With a few of these minor issues rectified this would be a great place to stay.

The staff was marvellous. The food was extremely repetitive and with the location being a bit outside the dye of anything it made it a little bit harder the look for alternatives when the same pork (which was the best option) got a bit tiring. There was often available sunbeds which was good. Cleanliness was good too. I think it would be beneficial to mention that hiring a car to explore the island would give anyone visiting the accommodation the best holiday.

Great facilities and breakfast for a smaller holiday complex. We were there 1st week in July amd almost had one of the.pools to ourselves, with plenty of sunbed choice. Hotel complex was clean and well maintained, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Tragaki itself is a small, quieter village, which suited us, but with some nice restaurants and handy supermarkets. Great views of sunset over Kefalonia too.

The staff at the Maistrali were what made it special. They are devoted to their guests experience. Unfortunately I don’t think that it is at the 4 star level. The food wasn’t always the best, it was often dry and/or overcooked and there wasn’t much variety on offer. The shower in the room was too close to the wall and so I had to be under it to get the spray. The shower head might need cleaning or changing as some water would spray out at odd angles and the bathroom would flood despite the drain. Ot wasn’t explained on arrival that there was a fob on the room keys that needed to be put into a slot continuously in order to use the lights, TV and air conditioning, also that patio doors have to be shut for the air conditioning to work. The majority of drinks and snacks at the Pool bar were not included in the all inclusive package.

THE HOTEL OF WHICH WE PUT IN WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL RUN, BUT NOT THE HOTEL OR POSITION WE BOOKED TO COVER THE MOBILITY ISSUES WE FACE.
