    Hotel welcome was incredible and drinks and staff on the reception were a warm welcome. After a complimentary upgrade we enjoyed our accommodation very much and the resort was picturesque.

    The accommodation was a massive disappointment. For the past few years we've booked the Atlantica Dreams resort and took a chance with the Lindian Village as it looked on the website to be an even better hotel. This was a massive mistake. The Hilton branding and the images made us believe that this was a step above what we were used to and in reality it was a huge let down. We paid extra for a private pool and were rarely able to use it as it was filthy. Covered in green algae that stained our bathing costumes. We requested 3 times for the pool to be cleaned and although the debris was removed, the pool edges weren't cleaned. They also didn't switch on the pool pump till the last day of the holiday so it turned out it was the same standing water the entire time. Our room was also barely cleaned and we even had to complain to reception about the cleaners skipping our room and aside from the day we arrived it was never mopped. We had to have maintenance carried out in our room as there were non- functional sockets and this was only fixed on the second time of asking. The buffet offerings at the main restaurant was limited and items were often cold even when first brought out. They also didn't have many of the drinks advertised and kept running out of ingredients. And the icing on the cake was the amount of noise around the accommodation. Maintenance noise banging and drilling. Overall the experience was not a good one and we're not happy at the price that we paid for that hotel given the issues.
