    Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious, bathroom was big with plenty of storage.

    Had an initial problem with cleanliness of our room, this was quickly resolved (floor in apartment very dirty). Most of the staff at the hotel were great, but one was very grumpy, slamming glasses about constantly and never smiled. We were hoping to watch England in the world cup, but the hotel refused to show the game, instead showing another game that the Germans wanted to watch. Generally, entertainment was good, although we tended to go out after being unable to watch the football. Food was generally good, plenty of choice and some variation. Many of the items were unlabelled though, so you didn't always know what you were putting on your plate. Cutlery was an issue for most of our stay, there was never enough. For example, I needed a spoon for ice cream, had to ask for one and then they gave me one, but only put 3 into the basket. These were instantly used up. We noted some people actually touching food and then putting it back, the hotel needs to clamp down on this. Sunbeds were a major problem, we noted that some had towels on all day, but nobody sat on them. Parasols were also an issue, there were not enough, resulting in having to sit in full on sunshine. The whirlpool/spa was out of order for the whole of our stay, it actually looked like it hadn't been in use for quite some time. Maybe this should be removed from the description/facilities of the hotel to avoid future disappointment for travellers.

    This was without doubt NOT a 4 rating! The room was basic with rock hard beds and cracked shower stall, the glasses in the restaurant only held a toddler sized drink and EVERY meal was luke warm! I can deal with repetitive food but the food was not ever even warm and we were first in! No access to drinks before 8am which is also not what I would expect from a 4 rated hotel
