Hated it. The photos don't give a true reflection of the property as it is now. Needs a good clean. Service is very hit and miss. No one helped me to my room when I arrived, I would sit through meals with cutlery and plates from other courses still on the table - these wouldn't be cleaned away until you had finished completely. It was very tired and dusty everywhere. The pavements needed weeding and the ant infestations everywhere needed sorting out.

The accommodation was amazing. The staff were all friendly and helped with any questions that we had. You could either just stay at the hotel and relax by the pool, use the courtesy shuttle bus to go in and out of Marrakech or they will arrange excursions for you.

Unhappy ! When we arrived at 11.00ish in the morning we were greeted by reception asking if we had a reservation? Then told our rooms would not be ready until 3.00pm - this was not stated when we booked holiday / flight. We had a baby and 5 year old and 7 people in total and 3 rooms. Receptionist actually asked if we “could come back “ !! 1 room became ready as we checked in (paperwork) but although we had had nothing to eat from the evening before and baby had not had a nappy change the reception were very unhelpful and no information was giving. I had to ask for another senior member to help answers questions. We had to wait in lobby area and finally got access to another room at 1.00pm and the final room at 2.00pm however we had paid for 3 x delux double rooms with garden views and the 3rd room which had the children in faced a busy, dusty, noisy main road so I had to go back to reception and request another room which they managed to do instantly and was a room with pool view, much better. The hotel allows smoking in public areas including the indoors lobby area there is a little, tucked to the back area of a rear lobby that has some sofas and seating that is non smoking and dinning area is non smoking but that’s it, rooms are non smoking but ok to smoke on patio / terraced areas. Rooms are spaceious but lack storage and have dangerous trip / slip hazards due to sliding rugs on tiled floors. There is a mini bar which is all at an extra charge. Patio doors in all the rooms did not lock. One of the sinks in the bathroom had a drain foul smell every time the tap was turned on luckily there is 2 sinks and the other was fine so used that. 1 of our groups room experienced “yellow” bath water. This did clear up We were told there was an ATM in hotel which there is NOT. The reception and money exchange desk ONLY accept cash for cash so you cannot use your bank card ! We asked where nearest atm was and had to get a 10min cab ride. You need cash as everyone wants tips from the moment you arrive, it’s very expected. There is NO BABY CHANGING FACILITIES ANYWHERE IN THE HOTEL ! Rooms on 2nd floors accessible via lifts - 1 was constantly breaking down so stopped using that one even when it was working. food was luke warm, some meat dishes were undercooked Do not expect a fry up, cutlery was in short supply and had to keep asking and waiting for some, slow to clear plates so waiting for tables overall not a good experience. 2 of us had diarrhea and 1 of us spent 1 day in bed ill. This was also reported to TUI via app. Other restaurants were there but at extra cost. Pool accessible via walk in steps but witnessed and reported fecal contamination in children’s pool only to have pool staff remove it “with his hand” causing a plume of cloudy water and bits broke off ! Staff did not close the pool and children along with adults stayed in the water and although I was told they would chlorinate the water I never witnessed this. This was reported to TUI via app and asked for update and if water would be safe to use but did not receive update. Staff were rude and unhelpful and clearly treated men and women differently. As a western tourist the women in our group felt “uncomfortable “ wearing western bathing suits around the poolside. Pool snack bar was a few pastries put out the other hot snacks are at an extra cost. THERE IS NO LITTLE SHOP IN OR NEAR HOTEL so if you run out of sunscreen or want snacks it’s a bus ride to town As there is no rep on site getting accurate information regarding excursions and suitability for children and any mobility issues was limited. Most information is not also translated into English it’s mostly French. Overall this hotel which is suppose to be 5* and its location is not up to western expectations of an all inclusive TUI holiday there is still much to be done it could be described as an up and coming area at best.
