Kalia beach hotel does have a great location on the beachfront and the front restaurant NUA experience has a relaxing boho-chic aesthetic. However the rennovations stop at the restaurant leaving some quite basic rooms behind the more slick facade. The rooms are large and functional but there's little comfort or decor that is in line with the new facade. The bed isn't that comfy and not much in the way of a duvet or comfortable sheets. It may be because we travelled out of season, but staff were very hands off except for the wonderful cleaning team but service was either slow or invisible. The breakfast included was extremely limited with a small selection of olives, boiled eggs and sun dried tomatoes and chocolate spread. The instant coffee machine was nearly always out of action as they would only plug it in nearly an hour into breakfast service, not ideal if you need a coffee before an day trip. The restaurant itself though was pleasant and what food we did eat was decent enough quality with availability to order directly from the beach during the day. Also a big thing to note was due to the recent refurb and hotel name change, any pickups/dropoffs was particularly difficult even TUI had trouble putting us on the correct bus cause nobody could find it on the maps. In addition to access the hotel reception any vehicle would need to drive through a bazzar which was difficult for certain vehicles.

Besonders Frau Aysel vom Reinigungspersonal war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und kompetent. An sie, 10 Sterne. ! Wäre super, wenn an das gebuchte Hotel auf diesem Wege, diese Nachricht weitergegeben wird.

“Schönes, stilvolles Hotel in guter Lage”

Übersichtlich und im schönen Boho-Stil gestaltet. Unser Maisonette-Zimmer war sauber, Wasser und Kaffee wurden täglich aufgefüllt. Kleinere Reparaturen wären wünschenswert, aber insgesamt war alles in Ordnung. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war recht einfach – mehr Auswahl bei Käse, Wurst oder Müsli hätten wir uns gewünscht. Dafür war das Essen im Restaurant gut, mit 15 % Rabatt für Hotelgäste. Der Strand ist hervorragend mit hochwertigen Liegen, auch hier im Boho-Stil. Die Lage ist super: ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß in die Altstadt von Side. Besonders nett: Wir haben beim frühen Check-out ein kleines Lunch-Paket bekommen. Fazit: Schönes Hotel mit toller Atmosphäre und sehr gutem Essen – gerne wieder!
