Excellent staff and spotlessly clean, in a very good location, however, the room was a bit dated, no hot water on arrival and very poor pressure in the shower The pool area is too enclosed with limited sunlight, photos are not an accurate reflection

We have been to La Cala many times so know exactly what to expect. All the staff are excellent, helpful and professional. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the rooms are comfortable although the decor is getting somewhat dated now. Bar and restaurant staff very friendly. Breakfast is excellent but we found the evening meals a bit limited (that is probably us rather than anything!) We like the central position the hotel has, making it easy to walk into town.

We have been going to this hotel for the last 15 years. I think that says it all.

The location was fantastic and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The decor was great but the furniture in the bar and communal areas were very uncomfortable and the ground floor was badly laid out. The entertainment was old fashioned and they lined up chairs in rows which was very dated. The entertainment was limited and there was no real atmosphere as music was kept to a minimum. The food was amazing and the chefs were friendly. The dining staff were all women of the same age so there was a tendency to chat - there was no clear dining room management. The rooms were comfortable. The pool area had no atmosphere. Someone needs to do a walk through of the ground floor snd make some changes to get a better vibe
