Beautiful hotel, fantastically clean, customer service was out of this world! The food was fabulous, and the staff was the best staff I’ve had at a holiday in years!!
Show moreBeautiful, clean hotel and staff could not do enough.
Show moreLovely hotel, small and quiet with a nice pool area. Our room was a suite on the first floor, it was large and had everything we needed. We had a big wraparound terrace with lovely views. Staff could not do enough for us. The breakfasts were plentiful with a good variety. The only downside is that the hotel is on a busy road and the noise from traffic was constant. You have to walk on the road for a short distance before you get to the path that takes you into the centre of town. It is a about a mile to the centre of Pyrgos so you have to take that into account. It wasn't an issue for us though. Overall a really lovely hotel.
Show moreVery quiet and relaxing hotel. Only downside was, yes you can walk to Pyrgos but it wasn’t that safe walking along the road with no pavement particularly at night. Would recommend getting a car as taxis quite expensive
Show moreAll staff really friendly & approachable. Went above and beyond to make sure everything was catered for. Helped with advice on where to go, what to do & how to get there. Sunbeds very comfortable & no problems getting a bed each day. Fresh pool towels on beds every day. Will provide separate towels if you want to take one to the beach. Breakfast was great, everything you could want - eggs, bacon, Greek yoghurt, fruit, croissants toast etc... It's only small (which we found to be an advantage) but those wanting a lively place would be disappointed. It is beside a busy road which has to be navigated when you go out of the hotel but we didn't have any problems. Pyrgos (beautiful, with loads of restaurants! & great views - arguably equal to Oia - & not as many tourists about) can be reached by walking up the road to Santo Wines & then on the footpath into town or cut through the back (mostly footpath) & through the petrol station into town. Megalochori; (pretty town, nice restaurants & some art galleries as well as a small cave house) easy to reach by going down the road & onto the footpath on the left before the junction which comes out at the car park by the bakery where the bus stop is. Buses are a bit of a law unto themselves - don't always stop, often full, didn't always give change & pick up/drop off at/from different places depending where you are going but aren't expensive at 2-3 euros pp per trip. Fira's not far away-probably an hours walk if that - we went on the bus . On the way back we spotted Lidl so went there for supplies - so much cheaper than any of small local supermarkets - just a bit of a walk on the road but mostly footpath & great views over the caldera towards Fira & Oia - good sunset spot!
