    The food wass a bit of a let down as there wasn't much variation or creativity. We went to Turkey last year and the food was really good quality and had various themes each night. All the food just felt like budgets had been cut and they had to be creative with the options they had

    I booked this hotel with high expectations based on previous reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite live up to them. The hotel grounds are genuinely beautiful and very well maintained, and our room was always clean and well looked after by the housekeeping team. There were also some lovely staff members who were friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated. However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The main pool had loud music playing all day, every day, which made it difficult to relax. There is a quieter, adults-only (16+) Zen pool, which was much more peaceful in terms of atmosphere. However, there was building work taking place directly at the pool itself. A makeshift tent structure had been set up in the pool area, and there was frequent banging and noise, which took away from the relaxing environment you would expect from a quiet pool. The food was quite hit and miss. Some evenings were better than others, and they did put on a lovely spread on Easter Sunday. However, compared to other all-inclusive hotels we’ve stayed at in different countries, the quality and variety didn’t quite measure up. At times, it also felt like food was being reused for longer than seemed appropriate, which was off-putting. At the Zen pool, drinks were left out on a table, but the soft drinks were consistently warm, which wasn’t ideal, especially in the heat. Another issue was inconsistency among staff — while some were very friendly, others were noticeably less welcoming. At night, there were stray dogs barking throughout the night, which disturbed our sleep on multiple occasions. The biggest concern for us was the water situation. The hotel does not sell bottled water, instead providing refillable water stations. While I understand and support the environmental intention behind this, the water did not seem to be properly filtered. Unfortunately, both my teenage daughter and I became quite unwell during our stay, experiencing stomach issues each time we drank from these stations. This was extremely disappointing and had a significant impact on our trip. The staff at the medical centre were kind and helpful, but it doesn’t change the fact that this issue needs urgent attention. I can’t comment on the evening entertainment as we didn’t attend. Overall, while the hotel has some strong positives, there are key areas — particularly noise levels, food quality, and water safety — that need to be addressed to meet the expectations set by other reviews.
