    We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and very welcoming. Everything was exactly what we hoped for, and we really enjoyed our holiday.

    The hotel was very, very clean. The food was exceptional. A couple of things that could have made the holiday perfect. The main pool was extremely loud and could be heard from nearly everywhere. It was more like a party venue for the Americans. We didn’t realise that the Bali beds / better loungers were all reserved for ‘privileged’ guests. At other resorts, there isn’t this two-tier system so we don’t like that. The worst aspects were the hot pools - we know the temperature of these went as high as 35 degrees - warmer then weather which is the last thing you want when trying to cool off. This would stop me from returning to this hotel. Secondly, we really liked the ‘Golden pool’ as it was quieter. However, we heard that an iguana (a large, orange male) had bitten someone while we were day. A few days later we witnessed this animal bite a gentleman which was unprovoked, he was just laying on his sun bed and the iguana ran from the trees straight to him. There was blood. A medic arrived quickly though. I also think it should be pointed out on Tui’s website that the area to swim in the sea is limited. Red flags are placed all along the beach with just a small semicircle safe for swimming. It maybe just the season but if the hotel was full, this would’ve been an issue.

    Hotel was fabulous. TUI website descriptions of the rooms were terrible. They need to review the official hotel website and use the same room names as the hotel because it was terribly confusing to book.

    I found the hotel before booking with TUI but I couldn’t have asked for more! The accommodation and service was second to none! Sad to be back home but would go back in a heart beat
