The reception staff were variable in quality, some brilliant, others couldn't be bothered to help at all. The door into our room was obviously broken at the hinge, no one had done anything about it, the room was dirty and the bathroom was poorly designed. It was in a good spot with potential to be a brilliant hotel but it was being let down by not being up to scratch with maintenance, cleanliness and the welcome it offered people.

Everything was very good apart from the food at dinner, which was never hot, just tepid, and we had to send it back to the kitchen to be heated up.
