Accommodation in general I would not say was to the standard of a 5* hotel. In places the hotel appeared to be tired looking and needing attention to loose fixings and damage to walls. Surprised to find that there were no separate areas for smoking and non-smoking. Staff in general were always very courteous and smartly turned out, very keen to assist and tend to your needs. 3 day in to the holiday I had to turn the aircon off as I believe this to be the cause of a chest infection which both I and my friend have contracted and has not resolved to date after a trip to both my local GP and hospital. The aircon unit situated in the wall to the bedroom appeared to be dirty around the vent. On trying to resolve an issue which I had encountered when out in the city I found one of the front of house staff at the desk were quite dismissive and felt that he was trying to make out that I was the cause of the problem. He stated that Marrakesh was a safe place and crime does not occur. It was only when it was stated that I would consult the Tourist Police that he endeavoured to solve the issue. On subsequent occasions after this if this member of staff were at the desk he would ignore us for as long as he could trying to busy himself, yet other staff were only too quick to assist.

Een heel aangename reis! Een top locatie & en een super hotel. Zou er meteen naar toegaan, enkel zou ik dan liever een kamer hebben met een balcon.

Not clear On taxes

Gorgeous hotel in heart of old Marrakech. Nothing was too much for the staff. Great selection of food if u want authentic French and Moroccan food.

“Hotel les Jardins de la Koutoubia”

Prachtig hotel, alles is perfect op orde van de kamer tot en met de zwembaden en spa/hammam. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en willen echt het verschil maken. We hebben extra betaald voor de studio optie en daar hebben we zo van genoten. Prachtig balkon om lekker te chillen en nog een tussenruimte binnen met schuifdeuren en dan de slaapkamer. Je loopt naar het grote plein en uitzicht vanaf de roofgarden van het hotel op de moskee, waar je overigens geen last van hebt. Het eten in de restaurants is top en het ontbijt is ook geweldig. Een high end hotel wat helemaal terecht is.
