Work on buffet restaurant nit informed prior to travel , glad we had upgraded to privilege. Staff are brilliant across the hotel but they are short staffed. Rooms are fab, gardens and swimming area and beach front location excellent. Food and wine in privilege exceptional. Dislikes outdated bar looks like an hatch, no waiter service, cocktails only a choice of 5 and pre manufactured no trimmings really poor quality. Privilege lounge is the nicest are to sit but closed at 8pm , better opening later and staying open until 10pm for after dinner drinks , especially as the bar area is poor and not 4 star.

Wij gaan zeker terug.

The hotel is understaffed. The main restaurant was being re-furbished (supposed water leak). It was a challenge to get a drink. When we arrived I asked where I could get a bottle of water, I was told the lobby bar which was closed. There is only one bar open at a time. Pool bar 10:30 to 18:00 our room was on the 5th floor. To get to the pool bar we had to go down to the 3rd floor, walk through doors to the terrace then down approximately 30 stairs or another lift. Most bars only had one person serving drinks. On Sunday 10 May at midday I counted 12 people queuing for a drink. Most cocktails are served by the barman from a machine which was sickly sweet and very little alcohol and in a plastic glass. Inside the hotel building you could not get an alcoholic drink until 18:00 when the lobby bar opened. The hotel is really nice, just poorly laid out and managed.

The hotel itself was lovely. But difficult to navigate with a pram and small child. Found it annoying there was only one bar open at a time as the pool bar was quite a distance from the hotel itself so inconvenient for getting drinks in the hotel during the day

    “Niet meer dan 3 sterren”

I really dont understand all the positive reviews. Maybe many dont have a lot of referential material. If you have ever been to Turkey or Greece in a 4 or 5 star, this hotel is really not worth youre money. Think twice what you paid. - no picolo for suitcases, bring the cases self to your room. Thats an important part of feeling welcome and luxury at 4 star. It lacks. - no verbal offering for a welcome drink. Just a table next to the check in. May I take it? Or wait for offer? - its NOT all inclusive, you need an upgrade to expensive Privlege to access some pools, restaurants, a chilling lounge with drinks and the jacuzzi in the Spa.Using the safe(basic need) If you dont know that, its not nice to be confronted with it if you want access. - its an old building and you see that in many details.Tiles are lose at the swimming pool and they putted a carpet in the pool to mask dirty and broken tiles. - the swimmingpool stair bars are all lose in the ground. - the heated swimmingpool is NOT heated. Its just as cold as the other pools. - many of the non english speaking restaurant staff is not friendly they shout in spanish, german style. - poor wifi many dead spots - a lot of rooms have airconditioning issues. many mechanic are working on it through the day. - a lot of time slots where you cannot order drinks or foods between. - no coffee between 16.00 and 18.00 inside. - at the swimmingpool bar you have to stand a long time in line for just getting a coke. You cannot tap refreshments yourself at the pool bar only water. - the lamps which must hold the food warm doesnt do their jobs. Food like flesh are often cold. - very often drinking machines doesnt work. Gives only water instead of coffee milk i.e. A lot of these little irritating things make in the sum the hotel not more then 3 star worthy. I paid 5000 euros for 2 adults and 2 young children. The last time for me unfortunaly a lot of missed changes the Hotel could be better because it has the potiential, but its not coming out. - The location is great , mother nature did it perfect Goodluck for the hotel.
