Accommodation was abit small for a family of 4, not much food selection so we ate out most of the time. Also didn’t have no view from our bottom floor balcony just trees that was full of mosquitoes.

Half-board and food issues There were also significant issues with the hotel's half-board arrangements. Although we had paid for half-board, drinks with meals were not included apart from water. Any other drinks had to be paid for separately. We also found the variety and quality of the food to be very poor. One Night there was literally just fish! Then they never labelled everything either, so allergies and dietary requirements could not be adhered to! On one evening, there was effectively nothing available that we could eat. There were also issues with the preparation and service of food. For example, frozen rolls were being served for hot dogs, and some cakes were still in the process of defrosting during service. This is not what we expected from a hotel holiday package, particularly given that we had paid for half-board. There were also no convenient water fountains or similar facilities around the hotel from which we could obtain drinking water for our room. Disability and accessibility concerns One of our biggest concerns is how Ellie’s disability and requirements were dealt with. Her disability was communicated multiple times before and during the holiday. Despite this, we were allocated a room which was not conveniently accessible. There was no lift within approximately 50 metres of the room, meaning Ellie had to either use stairs or walk a considerable distance to reach the lift. Given that the hotel had been informed about her disability and requirements in advance, we find it very difficult to understand why a more suitable room was not allocated. We would have expected the hotel and TUI to take the information provided about her disability seriously and make reasonable efforts to ensure that the accommodation was appropriate. Departure-day breakfast There was also an issue with breakfast on our departure day. We needed to leave the hotel at approximately 8:00am and then had to allow at least another 15 minutes to get to the bus stop. We were originally told that an early breakfast would be available from 7:00am. However, when we tried to arrange this, we were subsequently told that 7:30am was the earliest available time. We contacted the hotel about this several times, once in person and twice by telephone, but despite repeatedly requesting the early breakfast, we were apparently still not booked in for it. This left us with approximately 15 minutes to sit down and eat breakfast before we needed to leave for our transfer. The buffet was also like fort know, it wasnt even open at 7.30am in the morning so we had to find our way in and get interrogated. Again, this was particularly frustrating because we had made the request in advance and had repeatedly followed it up. I know it might not sound big to people but it was a special occasion after a lovely wedding day, we still cant get over how amazing it was, to then fall like lead balloons on a trip away. Instead of feeling that our special occasion and individual circumstances were being looked after, we repeatedly had to chase issues ourselves. We feel from a 4 star hotel, which we know doesn't mean much, but also a park owned one along with the TUI package shouldn't of been like this at all. The treatment by the hotel and TUI was just wrong and we felt we were always in the wrong etc.

Food was nice. Hotel was nice and friendly staff. Not too great for evening entertainment and alcohol drinks a bit rubbish. There were bed bugs present in some of the hotel rooms. But apart from that we had a great holiday..
