    Dining room staff were amazing. Reception staff were lovely. More helpful in arranging local trips than rep. No food awaited us on late arrival and lots of delays in communication. On two occasions, no turn down service when 'make up room' selected.

    Hotel du Lac et du Parc is a 4 star + and overall the Hotel and particularly the grounds are excellent. We were disappointed to find paper cups in the room for making coffee/tea. The bed and bedding was not of a high standard for a 4 star hotel. We paid for 7 nights half board and only has 6 breakfasts as the coach pick up was so early, breakfast at the hotel only starts at 7.30am. So the holiday shouldn't be sold as 7 nights Half Board. Other passengers on the return coach who were in different hotels also complained about missing their breakfast on the final day. The main evening dining terrace was unavailable all week due to a Convention taking place that week. TUI did not advise us of this when booking, the Convention has apparently been held at the hotel the same week for 20 years so it could not be said it wasn't known about. Eating outdoors on the terrace is a key feature of the hotel and taking a holiday in a sunny climate.

    We were given a room that we hated .. nothing like what we had been expecting. There was no safe, no refrigerator, and no door to the bathroom. Inconvenient and embarrassing.
