“Geweldig!”

We hebben erg genoten van onze vakantie in het Delfinia hotel op Corfu. De kwaliteit van de kamer was prima, goede service, heerlijk weer en prachtig eiland. Zeker aan te raden!

Couldn’t fault the actual accommodation, facilities, grounds or the staff. However, food felt like eating in a canteen and it was rarely hot, often lukewarm. Entertainment was very average and no effort was made to introduce the acts - they just drifted in. Cost of drinks was very expensive. Considerable disappointment that no TUI rep was allocated to attend the hotel at any time during our 2 weeks stay - we had to accost the rep available only to German clients to obtain answers to our questions. Therefore no information available about the area, nor any excursions we could join. For what we paid we would have expected a much greater level of service.

Das Frühstück war bis auf die TK-Aufbackwaren immer das selbe. Der Aufschnitt war immer nur der preiswerteste. Das Highlight waren die Frauen im Service und das Abendessen. Meine Bettwäsche war schon beim Zimmerbezug dreckig und wurde erst nach neun Tagen gewechselt. Der Rezeptionist beim Check out war eine bodenlose Frechheit und ich bin ohne Frühstück abgereist.

Expensive drinks at hotel compared to other hotels/cafes/bars in area. Smoking everywhere, I had a chain smoker in next room I couldn't sit outside because of the smoke and also it filtered through the air conditioning. There should be smoking rooms and non smoking rooms, I complained but they said he was going home next day so had to put up with it for another night. The beach bar was very expensive, the male staff were grumpy and rude and everything seemed like a mission to them, I bought a cocktail mojito was disgusting, I had to ask the guy if he could put some lemonade in it as it was so bitter, he looked at me like I was mad, no apology. Restaurant staff were lovely, friendly. However the dining area is far too small for amount of people dining, often cramped in and very very noisy. Staff were rushed off their feet all the time, and it was October, god knows what it's like in peak season. Location was beautiful, beach very small but wasn't busy this time of year. Room was good except the smoker, oh and after he left there was another smoker but not sure which room, just was horrible when you don't smoke 😔
